In 2015 our friends at I Like Giving created this shore video about Ali donating her wedding ring. This was a pivotal moment in her life and one that has inspired people around the world to examine their hearts and take radical steps of generosity.

It has been so great interviewing amazing Heroes of Generosity over the last few months. If you have not had a chance to listen to this podcast, I would encourage you to listen to a few when you have a chance. One of my favorites is my interview with my good friend Camilla Seabolt. This has been such great fun.

That being said, it is with mixed emotions that I write that the Heroes of Generosity podcast will be taking a sabbatical for now. The New Year is bringing new challenges and opportunities and I believe that God is calling me to focus on other things while leading With This Ring.

It is my intention to bring back the podcast sometime in 2016. For now, we have 20 great episodes available on the website and iTunes. Again, thank you for listening.

Josh McDowell is a Christian apologist, evangelist, speaker and best selling author of some 115 books. In this poignant and candid interview, you will hear how this once agnostic set out to disprove Christianity but discovered evidence to prove the existence of Christ which led to one of the most important apologetic writings of our time, Evidence That Demands A Verdict. Other well-known titles are More Than a Carpenter, A Ready Defense and Right from Wrong.

Hear Josh’s take on living a truly generous life and discover how he decided to use the millions of dollars his books generated. In this interview you will learn the surprising way this well-known author chose to support his family over the years and how he has used his platform to bring young people to Christ all over the world.

Don’t miss this very important interview with Josh McDowell on the Heroes of Generosity Podcast.

On a Sunday morning at a large church in Colorado Springs, a gunman entered the church parking lot and opened fire on anyone standing within shooting range. Twoteenage sisters were killed that morning. In an effort to bring hope back to the students in the aftermath of that terrible tragedy, the youth pastor gave them a challenge that would change all of their lives and the lives of children around the world forever. Jeremiah Parks and his wife Niki have an amazing story that will inspire you and give you hope for the next generation. This week you will hear from Jeremiah and next week his wife Niki will tell her own side of the story. They had me in tears as they recounted all the amazing miracles God did to bring healing to this church and to orphans on the other side of the world. This is a must hear. Take the time to listen to this podcast.

Jeremiah and Niki Parks are the founders and directors of Heartwork, a non-profit organization on a mission to equip our young generation for compassion, leadership and generosity. Heartwork challenges students around the country to live free from our culture of self-focus and to spend themselves for the benefit of children living in extreme poverty around the world. By engaging students with a 30 day devotional journey, and calling them to sacrifice for a poverty relief project, Heartwork has found that living differently for just a month can shift the course of a student’s life as they make decisions about college, work, and spending in their futures as young adults. Jeremiah and Niki are both graduates of Oral Roberts University and live in Colorado Springs with their 3 kids.
